Welcome To 300 Pounds And Running!
I’m a 26-year-old 338 pound man who is tired of being tired when walking a flight of stairs; Tired of being restrained to the big and tall section of stores; Tired of the way clothes fit on me; Tired of feeling claustrophobic when I’m in a small room or around three or more people; Tired of wearing two shirt because I sweat through the first as soon as I walk out of the house; Tired of having sleep apnea; Tired of being pre-diabetic; Tired of my joints hurting; Lastly I’m tired of being over 300 pounds.
So what are you going to do about it?
I’m going to become a marathon runner!
Why a marathon runner?
Because I never seen a +300 pound marathon runner in my life!
Oh I get it’s because they lose weight, right?
Yes! I’ve never seen or heard of an obese long-term runner.
Why blog?
I am blogging because:
- I process things internally and this is a way for me to vent.
- I want to inspire others to get healthy.
- I want to prove to myself that I can become a marathon runner.
- I want to be a resource for people who have issue with weight and want to do something about it.
- Lastly I want to show people that if I can do it, they can it do it also.
I hope to show the good, bad, and ugly of becoming a marathon runner in an entertaining, yet informative way. This blog is coming from my heart and I hope that you enjoy reading my journey to become a marathon runner.
