Today is the day it all started…28 years in the making!
Today I am going to take the day to reflect on my life, look at my goals and reevaluate them… I have my two favorite ladies on my side, My mom and girlfriend and we’re going to enjoy my birthday…
When I think about today, I think about all the great things that have happened to me in the past year and in my life. The only thing I can say is Wow I made it!
Many of you know I was born and raised in Detroit, MI… It’s the city that took two of brothers away from me… It’s the city where I grew up poor and didn’t even know it until I left. It’s the city where I’ve been shot at, stabbed, jumped and beaten. The city taught me how to hustle. The city that taught me that I need to live my life to the fullest because it could be taken from you at any given minute. Lastly, it’s the city that made me the man who I am today!
During this past year I’ve ran a marathon, been to London, had a car accident, and bought a house. I am very fortunate to have all these things happen to me because I know there many people who will not experience any of these things… I’m blessed to have made it to 28!
