What’s The Worst Weight Loss Advice You’ve Ever Heard?

Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar If you really want to lose weight fast, drink a tablespoon of Bragg’s Apple Cider Vinegar for a month… I had a friend do it and she lost 40 pounds in a month. I overheard this conversation while in the grocery store last night. As I did, a double take to make sure my ears wasn’t deceiving me. It got me to thinking how everyone thinks they are an expert in losing weight…. I find this very interesting with more than 75% of the US population are either overweight or obese. I know there is a caveat with BMI but this still… There are so many people who just give advice to their friends, family or whoever and most of the time it’s not even quality advice… It always seems to be that “too good to be true,” “lose weight quick,” type of shit that people are so gullible for. The may have heard something on some TV show *Cough* *Couch* Dr. Oz, add some exaggeration to it and then pass it on as the wholehearted truth… That’s just not right because someone who doesn’t know any better, falls for the trap and end up spending their hard earn money on lies…Come on seriously? Drinking a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar every day for a month will not result in losing 40 pounds. Hell, you wouldn’t get those results even if you added 1 hour of exercise to the regimen… Folks, we have to get realistic with our weight loss goals and not fall the advertising trap. Just because they show you someone who is “lean” or “ripped” and they tell you that person lost an astronomical amount of weight does not mean it is true… According to the CDC, healthy weight loss is about 1 to 2 pounds a week. Sounds boring right? Yes for those who are playing the short game however if you are in it for the long haul that could result in losing 104 pounds in a year… Do the math!
