I’m back from my mini-vacation in Detroit. I decide to take today’s workout to the treadmill in the club house of my apartment complex. My workout took forever to complete, I could feel myself slowing down on the treadmill my body wanting to stop while my mind telling me to keep going, I’m gasping for air. This is the battle I face every time I run. Eventually I hear “Workout complete!”

Here’s what today’s workout look like:

couch to 5k week 3, Day 3

I ran 2.1 miles, burned 656 calories, and my pace was 16.07 min/mile. After the workout I stretched and did leg press, calf raises, leg extension, leg curls, and abs. What I learned from today’s run is that even though I’ve been running for couple weeks I’m still out of shape. Some things just don’t change…
