Check out part 1 of my FitBloggin’ Recap

Day 2 of FitBloggin’13 started it with yoga. I never did yoga before so it interesting to see me try to stretch and breathe at the same time. Yea… I wasn’t that good at yoga but I gave it the ole college try!

After yoga the folks from Reebok CrossFit came down and did a WOD that lasted for only four minutes. I was underwhelmed about the WOD since last year they kicked our butts. This year was lackluster compared to last year and I don’t think it represented a real CrossFit WOD.

 

Session Jumping

Like last year FitBloggin’ had a lot of great sessions going on at the same time. So I bounced around to the different session to get a feel them, then I would read the live blog later.

From 1:30pm-3:30 pm…

I started with a workshop titled, “How to Create a Media Kit that Showcases Your Brand and Gets Companies Knocking on Your Door,” ran by Erica House of EricaDHouse.com, Shannyn Allan of FrugalBeautiful, and Annabel Adams of Feed me, I’m Cranky! Then I went to learn “Tricks for Snacking on the Go,” and snagged a picture with Tenley Molzahn.

Then I hopped over to see the last 45 minutes of “When You Have a Lot to Lose,” led by Emily Sandford of Skinny Authentically Emmie.

From 4:00-6:00…

I learned about SEO from Brandi of Diets in Review then hopped to Leah of Mamavation session to see if I’m “Getting Paid or Paying Dues” then moved beyond page views and learn about Google Analytics with Tim of Midpack Runner.

After of the session jumping I changed clothes and went to the farewell banquet sponsored by Nurilite.

The next day I got up and led the 5K portion of the fun run.

To sum it up…

I had a great time at Fitbloggin’13, I met a lot of cool people, I learned something’s, and I connected with brands. I did everything that I came to do!

Lastly I just want to take a second to thank all the people who impacted my experience at Fitbloggin’13!
