Today was the best run I’ve had so far. I got up at 8 am and ran on the treadmill at the club house of my apartment complex. Everything seems to be good during my run, my calves did not burn as much, the sound of my feet colliding with the treadmill was music to my ears, and I didn’t breathe as hard during this run.

There were things that tried to interfere with me and my workout, but I didn’t let them  bother me. For starters my left leg felt like it wanted to have a shin splint; I took two aspirin and stretched before I ran. When I got to the club house my key fob didn’t work, so I had to go to the leasing office to get a new one. The minute I started to run my iPhone wouldn’t play music. I tried Pandora, I heart radio, and the music saved on the phone but nothing worked, subsequently I had run without music. The funny thing is, as soon as my workout was over my phone started to play music. I laughed to myself and shook my head.

Here’s what today’s workout look like:

300 Pounds and Running C25k Week 3, Day 2

After the workout I went home, stretched and made myself a smoothie. When it was all said and done I felt good about my workout. I think I might have a little bit of a runner’s high, whatever it is I like it! I think I can get use to this whole running thing it only took me three weeks.

Until next time I’m 300lbs and running!
