Today I went to the RAC (Romulus Athletic Center) with my girlfriend’s father. It’s a local recreation center with tons of muscle heads walking around. The track is located above the gym, each lap equals 1/10 mile. As noted in my last entry running on flat land is amazing compared to the hills/mountains of Connecticut. My run started off pretty good then all of a sudden three walkers took up all of the lanes.

Run in the park!
Today I ran at 8:30 am, which is later than my usual 6:00 am run, after a 12 hour drive from Connecticut to Michigan I guess I can give myself a bye for running later than I normally do. It felt good being in my hometown seeing friends and family and running on flat land of course! 🙂
I Can’t Believe I’m on Run #3
I took today’s run to the streets I ran through Henry Park which has a lot of hills, the run was tough but I survived!
The First Run From Hell!
Now that I have the most stylist, functional, proper fitting running shoes that I can afford. It’s time to take the babies out for a run. I have my Nike Plus app all set up and I’m using another app call 5K Runner: 0 to 5K run training. I hop on the treadmill, pressed the start button and I’m off the first steps of my new life.
Take a run in my shoes!!
I heard that shoes are the most important equipment you need when running. So today I went to Fleet Feet in West Hartford, Connecticut. To get my feet analyzed and gait tested so I can get the proper running shoes.
